 @ Stuart - I see we have another member who enjoys classical as I do.
One of my favourites although not just instrumental is Nabucco by Verdi (chorus of the Hebrew Slaves)

Love all of those classical pieces ... particularly Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves but my personal favourite is

The Intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana by Mascagni

Closely followed by Romance from the Gadfly by Shostakovich.

Heard a local band do it but can't think of the name. They have since split so wondered if this was a spin off band
