Conservative MP Aidan Burley, who was sacked as a ministerial aide for attending Nazi-themed stag party, rails against Danny Boyle's work on Twitter.
The only person I have heard criticise it.

It was also in most other papers including the daily mail, but don't let that spoil a good story... ;)

I think the UK did the show good. End of.

Slightly worried by whoever the German representative was. When his team went through the 'wave' he gave them look a little suspicious.

Hear, hear! And in my opinion Danny Boyle did an excellent job. O0
I did read a bit of criticism in one of the papers today, but it was more along the lines of "Why didn't he include any Shakespeare?" I expect, given the timescale there were some difficult choices about what to include.
Who amongst any of us could have staged something like that?
:) :)

I'm sure there was a bit of Shakespeare in the opening ceremony, but cant remember what it was.
Totally right about Danny Boyle - a masterpiece!
