TrafficPaymaster, sold by housing minister's wife's firm, generates revenue for sites using search engine's AdSense.
Ha ha ha - caught bang to rights. What we in the trade would call a Black Hatter :))
Basically, it steals content from other people's sites, mixes it up a bit and republishes as his own. So when you come across crap websites whilst surfing via Google, that seem to be written by half-wits - well there's a little truth in that.

What a twonk, what makes them think they're going to get away with it.

He'd probably use the same defense as Richard O'Dwyer - not breaking any laws in the UK. ;)
But doesn't respect any copyright laws. :-?
Somebody ring Theresa May asap... >;

A woman who falsely claimed £40k of housing benefit by not declaring someone was living with her got 6 months inside, David Laws MP who did similar with his expenses got sacked from government and is now coming back into government. One law for them..........

Conversely she was probably desperate for basic living expenses and to a multi millionaire it was just spending money that he did not need to claim in the first place. If he's gay he's gay, so what, this isn't Uganda.

Of course, some MPs who did fiddle their taxes did end up in jail, (though should have been more). All those found of criminal activity were, as it happens, LABOUR MPs, a fact quietly ignored on here of course.

I could say the same, in fact I think I have several times.
Personally I think constant Tory bashing as per the title in this post is boring but you continue to do it. I continue to put the other point of view and you continue to try and tell me to shut up in one way or another.
And as for my post above, it is accurate and correct so why should I not post it, its relevant to the issue as mentioned by Slacker, or do you just object to fair and balanced debate.
-
I never knew that. I would have had a guess at the guilty being spread across all three main parties. Maybe just by luck of the draw, (or how expensive their barristers were). I could have sworn there were some tories up on criminal charges too.
If I remember correctly, only 3 MPs were jailed, all Labour. They later found a Tory Lord guilty as well and he got a prison sentence too. As I said above, it should have been many more, IMHO.
-
My last word on this; If a Labour MP makes the news I'll include them. But as I only take news from the front pages of the Guardian, Telegraph or Daily Mail, I'm buggered until some Labour bod does something wrong.
Is it my fault that Tory MPs keep getting themselves in the news?

Any MP on the fiddle deserves to be punished but Laws seems to have got off lightly compared with others. Paying back once you get caught shouldn't get you off. "Justice" largely depends on the lawyers you can afford

First part, probably true, I haven't checked.
My bold are you talking of the forum in general again ?

I don't give a toss where you get you news from. It was Slacker that made a comment about MPs fiddling taxes, and I responded specifically on that point. Whats your problem, why are you always trying to pick a fight with me. Just like you are entitled to your opinion, I am entitled to mine and rightly or wrongly, my view is that some members of this forum have left leaning views, others have views more to the right, such as CChris, we are all entitled to say what we want, so how come everytime I post, you want to pick a fight with me.
My post still remains true and accurate regarding the fact that it is only Labour MPs who have been sent down, why is that point not valid in this discussion, why can't I ever make a point without you wanting to somehow get into a fight with me.
Are facts too inconvenient for you.

>> Booing at somebodys medal giving ceremony even if it is for the person giving the medals out is an awful thing to do. What a great memory for the olympians to take home with them for the rest of their life.
Totally agree with that, but remember it wasn't some militant left-wing activists that booed him. It was the audience for the Paralympic Games - folks who I would suspect were decent people.

Here's a couple of questions for you then, if the government have been implementing cuts for the last two and half years, why aren't things getting better? And did the tax cut do any good?
I'm not being funny here Chris, or playing any games, I genuinely don't understand what's wrong.

Some people obviously dont like what George Osbourne stands for, and thats fine. Is he doing the best job? Maybe not, but at least he's trying to fix the economy rather than simply bleeding it dry like the last lot. If they were still in power, we would be firmly in the dock with Greece & Italy. Truth be told we aren't that far behind them anyway, and swimming against the tide.
Part of me actually hopes that the coalition splits and there is another election soon. Labour would walk it with the current feeling toward the coalition, and then they can get back to their old ways, completely and utterly bankrupt us with their tax and spend policies, and then all those who have an understanding of economics that stretches beyond the tabloid headlines and the back of a fag packet maths, can sit back saying "told you so", with a smug grin. Well it would be a grin, if it weren't for the fact that we would be in a worse state than we are now with even more cries of "You're well off, you should be paying more"....
Id suggest a topic where we can all put forward our thinking on what should be done to fix the economy, and specifically show our working as to how and why it will work. Perhaps then we could see who is basing their "The tories are doing a shit job" thinking on anything but their own personal feelings towards Thatcher and the tabloid headlines.... Ill not hold my breath.
Why wait for Labour to win an election, just look at whats happened to the French economy since they elected a socialist President.

Pete, there has been more talk about cuts than actual cuts. You said it youself a while back, theres no confidence in the economy. People think there have been massive cuts, but in reality the cuts have been somewhat limited. Yes, some people are worse off, but no where near as bad as what it needs to be to correct the economic problems this country faces. The problem the Govt., any Govt. has is that they still have to keep people happy to win elections, and its hard to do that if you are reducing their income in some way, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be doing it.
