Title: Tory plots to oust Cameron revealed?
Post by: Pete on September 09, 2012, 03:14:53 PM
In the Mail On Sunday and in the Guardian there is a story that there is a plot to dump useless David Cameron and replace him with ridiculous Boris Johnson…

"Amid growing Tory backbench discontent, parachuting Mr Johnson into Parliament could trigger a mass revolt against Mr Cameron and pave the way for a leadership challenge"

And so the beginning of the end is now coming into view...

Roll on the General Election!

Chris: if a party are in opposition thats all they ever do regardless of which party it is. During the election campaign the ONLY thing that the parties agreed on was that cuts were necessary. They differed over the timing but thats all. NEITHER party gave any clear direction on what they would and wouldn't cut. Nobody could run a business that way (imagine coming into Sainsburys and me offering to see you a bag full of shopping for £10 without actually telling you what was in it) yet we figure its acceptable for people to run a country that way. Fact is that too many people in this country vote according to political ideology and dogma rather than actually listening to what the parties have to offer and making an informed choice. (Remind me to tell you one of Mycul's favourite polling station stories)
As we have seen in a different thread the Tories are actually spending MORE money rather than cutting the deficit. So either that is an admission that cuts can't be made or its an indication that the Tories are as you say Useless.

I would dearly love to hear some explanation from people on here as to what Labour would do, or indeed what they think should be done to fix the economy.

You'll have a long wait, they, like Labour generally, are so busy slagging everyone else off, they don't have any time to come up with any ideas of their own.
