Same team as behind Thrust SSC the first 'car' to do Mach 1. Though the driver appears to have been promoted from Sqdr Leader to Wing Cdr in the interim years!!

Try watching some one of the other 'in car' footage on Youtube.
Driving along at 700+mph giving a perfectly calm running commentary.

As I said what some of the other footage.
If you have time watch the whole BBC4 doucumentary.
At 500mph the car had a nasty tendancy to pull wildly to the left. He's ready for it fights to correct it and still calmly talks about it.
