Title: George Osbourne Train Fiddle
Post by: Scimitar on October 19, 2012, 08:14:00 PM
Chancellor buys a standard class ticket and plonks his fat ass in First Class.
Upper Class Twit. some kind of sweet revenge for Virgin train staff following their possible loss of franchise. No wonder they didn't let him off and made him pay to upgrade ;D

Sorry, got to be right about this. Everybody is looking for a story on this.
But it's a storm in a tea-cup.

Still an upper class twit. no way was he going to mix with the ordinary public.

At least he used public transport - but you would have thought that he'd bought the appropriate ticket for his journey.
Maybe the Chancellor will learn a lesson from this.
Don't hold your breath :(

Apparently Virgin have stated that he bought a 2nd class ticket and then paid for an upgrade.

But who actually paid?  His own pocket or ours?  Let make an educated guess...
