Title: Soldier sacked 72 hours before he gets his full pension
Post by: Pete on October 22, 2012, 11:32:51 AM
"Sergeant Lee Nolan was so furious about losing out on at least £100,000 that he sent his six military medals to David Cameron"

You couldn't make this up! Unreal...  :(

Although I have read of similar attitudes in the US, where once you have done your bit, no matter what state you are in physically and/or mentally, you are abandonded to your fate.

And I expect, with some digging, I could find an example of a disgraced banker given a few million pounds to go away...

So what?

Totally agree with your soldier point, but where did the banks get money from when they were in deep poo?
