Title: Opera mobile query
Post by: Alsatian on October 26, 2012, 05:39:52 PM
I keep getting emails about PPI claims, bingo sites etc etc and, when I click on unsubscribe they are all from 'meaningful help' and despite doing this several times I'm still receiving them.

I've now marked then as junk, so fingers crossed! However on my (android) mobile whenever I launch Opera Mobile it loads the 'meaningful help' unsubscribe web page! I've checked the saved pages and start pages and can't find anything, any tecchies out there able to throw any light on this?

Don't you get dirty looks if your mobile goes off at the opera?

How about un-installing, then re-installing Opera.
I can't really help. I've never owned an Android phone  :!

That was my next thought, but didn't particularly want the hassle of bookmarks and passwords etc etc.

Funnily enough I tried the IT experts "switching it off and on" and up to now it seems to have worked!

Thanks anyway Fly ;-)

I'd also thought about that.
See, your cleverer than you thought you is  ;)
I've Googled 'Android Meaningful Help', but it's not returning any helpful links.
I'd have posted them if it did. Sorry  :( I did look for you.
