I inadvertently posted my, 'Gutted', post, in the 'Chesterfield Discussion' board, last night. It was meant for this board.
It was a little personal message of my sorrow, from me, to a couple of family members who I know watch the forum.
I'd just received some awful news from mum's youngest sister and was trying everything I could to get in touch with them.
Mum's other sister had just found her 29yr old son, dead :o
He'd left a note.
:'(
It's left all our family totally 'gutted'. We're all at a total blank why ?
I informed Pete by PM. He's since told me some of you have PM'ed him about my post.
So, thanks for all the messages everybody, they are appreciated ;)

Although it's rocked us all - I realise how lucky I am to be so close to my family - especially my four fave cousins <3
Think this is a family disaster that will pull us closer together.
-
Glad you got my message and took the time to post Cus :(

Its never a pleasant thing - My mum passed away earlier this year whilst on holiday in Turkey.A long story, and a month for her body to come back home :(
We decided to celebrate her life at the funeral, and the guy who took the service was magnificent.
Its awful when someone close dies unexpectedly, the emotions you go through whilst it finally sinks in that they are gone for good, and you are never going to see,or talk to them again.
It's partially true that time heals the loss - but just when you think you are coping with it you will find that from time to time, it hits you again like a ton of bricks.
I didn't expect Mum to die at "only" 77 yrs old. I thought she had more years left than that because of all the medication she was on, etc., but it was not to be.
I hope it goes well, in as well that any funeral can go, and that it does not upset you too much.

Hope all goes well Fly

Just spent the last hour on google maps, I hate Stockport and the M60, M61, M62 lol
Don't have much faith in my satnav, the maps are a bit out dated :D
Think I've got my route sorted now ;)
-
Hope the drive isn't too stressful Fly, I don't like driving out of my comfort zones these days so would be mega stressed with that drive. :-?
-
Driving doesn't phase me at all. Just certain places. Manchester's one of them ;)
-
@ fly - good job isn't it seeing as it's your job :))
-
I would avoid the long way M62 loads of roadworks at the moment,.
-
Were staying on the M62 overnight lol
-
Happy camping!
-
Tried my black trousers on, I can still get in them :P
Got the tent packed.
Taxi booked from tent to the Crematorium.
Will skank a lift from the Crem to the Pub ;)
I'm sure we'll find the tent later ::)
Got to make light of it, no point in sulking.
Another associate of ours was found dead yesterday morning :(
-
Sorry to hear that Fly seems to come in batches doesn't it :( :(
-
Back at the tent now ;-)
As funerals go, it's probably one that will stick in my mind for a long time.
Civil ceremony, no singing. Couple of his fave tracks.

When my late parner passed away back in 91 I also chose music which was special to us. Many told me after that that would be what they would like to have when it was there time to leave the world.
You don't have to go to church or have hymns to live a Christian life IMO.
