Title: BBC Director General falls on his sword
Post by: Pete on November 11, 2012, 10:21:48 AM
A question of mindsets...

Director General of the BBC resigns over Newsnight fiasco - I don't think such an exemplary career should end because of this, but respect for for Entwistle for doing so.

The Sun's front page - a nasty, vicious mindset - Murdoch is probably planning a big party - Jeremy Hunt first on the guest list? Cameron?  Rebekah Brooks?

Gooid article about the lies err... inaccuracies by major national newspapers that are currently attacking the BBC. Hypocrites.

For example:
The Sun pins the Norwegian mass shooting on ‘Islamists’
The Telegraph accuses Labour conference of heckling an 11-year-old child
The Guardian jumps to conclusions during the phone hacking scandal
The Independent wrongly accuses a politician of taking $150m from a foreign autocrat
The Daily Mirror wrongly accuses Chris Jefferies of associating with paedophiles and being linked to a murder
The Daily Mail wrongly accuses teacher of leading a riot which trashed Tory HQ
The Times invents radical Islamist “control” of a North London mosque

After the Hillsborough reporting, I'm amazed that the Sun attack others so viciously.

Oh, hang on a minute, aren't they one of Muroch's rags...

Well worth a read.
