Title: ASDA Living & Hobbycraft on the way?
Post by: JM on January 04, 2013, 06:32:47 PM
(http://www.landsecuritiesretail.com/property/11915-phase-3-chesterfield-cgi01-reva.jpg)

Just stumbled across this http://www.landsecuritiesretail.com/websitefiles/106525_Chesterfield_Dec_2012.pdf (http://www.landsecuritiesretail.com/websitefiles/106525_Chesterfield_Dec_2012.pdf)

I know Asda Living was rumoured to be coming when they proposed knocking Focus down, but I hadn't heard anymore about it since.

Thank you for the warm welcome.

Ah, hadn't seen that:
Quote from: http://www.chesterfield.co.uk/developments/ravenside-retail-park
Planning permission was granted in July for Phase 3 of the Ravenside Retail Park in Chesterfield which will see two additional units built on the site and to open by Summer 2013.

That's the one JM.
Here's a picky for the less techy types of the new proposal.

@OC I wouldn't want to be on the committee  :(

Common sense and H&S just stops simple ideas.
Bring on the Northern Gateway, (Donut).
Chezzie will be like the M25  :'(

I once complained about the number of taxis in Chesterfield, this was probably on CF.
Basically someone told me, if I can't take the competition, move on !!

So yes, I can see both sides of the argument. We still depend on our regular customers.
A-For-Art might continue to survive. Just like we do ;-)

Yes they have. These two units might be on a higher elevation.

I struggled in Chesterfield pre Christmas to get a simple stitch craft picture for a present for a young woman who wants to learn how to sew.
