Title: Changing Broadband
Post by: Pete on January 07, 2013, 07:16:50 PM
I want to change my broadband supplier - currently O2 - cos it's crap.

Any suggestions?

Still can't fault TalkTalk. But I'm only 1/4 from the exchange, and 50% of the street are pensioners  :(
I probably live in a low usage area, hence my good connection.
Not a pull down on OAP's  :)

I know you probably don't want to put any money in Mr Murdoch's pocket put Sky currently doing 6 months free £7.50 thereafter.
Of course you have to put your phone with them which is £14.50 a month line rental.

another talk talk here. Though back when it was Tiscali they were pretty P1ss poor to be honest but have really improved with the merge etc.
Not had many problems at all so you could give them a go :)

I have always stuck with BT never had a problem with them after all they have all the telephone exchanges, but the best revues are for Plusnet and owned by BT now anyway as Chesterfield chris says

What's your priority Pete?
Cost or performance ?
I've been on BT Infinty for almost a year now. No problems and download speeds around 35 meg. Very reliable and consistent speeds.
Not the cheapest thou £32/month inc line rental.

My priority is reliability and speed Seanant as I need it 24/7 for my livelihood. Unfortunately I don't live where Infinity is available. :(
