I've seen similar with surface dressing where the owner has gone away and probably left the car for weeks. Only practical way is to leave a small piece and them hand lay it at a later date. If everything is set to go it can cost a lot of money to satnd a jib down, far in excess of the value of any car that's in the way. In the old days it would have been lifted out of the way.
