Yes I agree with you scimitar we have been piddling about with it off and on for a f but looking at the weather for the US they are on an alert for a lot of snow to be put down - and we mostly get snow after them so this on sunday (if we get it ) may not be our last :(
-
Phew just had a look and they have changed it from heavy to light snow through Sunday apart from around 8pm when it is down as heavy and Monday is given now for a dryer day after initial light falls in early morning :)

Me too mate. I usually watch the weather on the BBC website.
They're usually not to far wrong. And they only predict 2 days in advance.

Here you are it's a five day forcast for our postcode which you can track through the night time.
As you will see two snow flakes equals heavy snow on the charts.
They have put the heavy snow back in from early hours tomorrow as you will see.
Must say for all the snow we have had up to now they have been spot on -
I wouldn't be surprised if we get some of what America is getting - it's just when!
-

No, it's a two day forecast. Click on each individual day. You may find day 3 and 4 resemble day 2
They can't predict, and don't predict, a 5 day forecast. Ignore the graphics, that's just rubbish.

My app - which is from the Met Office has now changed to sleet!
You pays your money and you takes your choice! 8)

I do find it odd how we cant seem to get the weather right hour by hour.
When I was in Las Vegas, they predicted a storm 4 days before it arrived. It arrived on the day they said and within a few hours of when.
-
Well ours was obviously wrong this time but it's down for later today???
They have however been pretty spot on in the past - unpredictable is the word ;D

It's iffy on the tops, I've just been up to the golf course at Stanedge and the hill is starting to get poor.

Ohhh it's rotten out there - had to walk to daughters as she had a problem - coming back up the hill was dreadful icy windy and thick snow. Took my breath poor old asthma kicked in ---- glass of wine I think and rest!!

Took my sister back to Matlock at lunchtime, as was worried about the weather..............................it was better there than it was here!!
-
That makes a change Alsatian I have been saying to my hubby if he still had hios shop in Matlock he would have been staying in his flat above it - cos I wouldn't have been driving there to collect him!
