Title: Bedroom Tax rules examined
Post by: Old Cruser on February 22, 2013, 10:05:41 AM: Looks like we 'may' see some slight changes to this bedroom tax situation - but not holding my breath. I would hope that at the very least they would cut the % which is set at 14% and 25% and for ALL not just disabled.

It does have a few references to other people too, disabled or long term sick etc.

I am pleased they have made the forces exempt as well.
Hopefully this will help.
Not sure what they class as major adaptations though.
They are just railroading through it without too much thought >:(

If you scroll down to the 12 March news letter it will give you an update on what is happening around the different reforms and it seems that the universal credit is in disarray!
But - still they battle on!!!

seems that some foster carers may well still be paying it!

How stupid is that - having to apply every six weeks for discretionary housing fund ---- many will walk!
