Title: A sad story
Post by: Old Cruser on February 22, 2013, 10:13:24 AM
I have read this on another forum shocking me I feel very sad  :'(

A good friend of mine, female aged 58 was placed in the wrap group over 12 months ago. She had been going for work focused interviews and attending different courses that she was told were mandatory. Her health problems were 3 previous heart attacks and emphasyma ( don't know how to spell this) plus arthritis in feet and various other joints. She was sent for an interview in a canteen where she was told by job adviser that she would just have to serve food. When she went for the appointment, the gentleman asked about her background and said she was not suitable and that it also involved carry heavy trays of food. They then sent her last Friday for a cleaning job at a contract cleaners, they too said she was not suitable. She went back to the adviser who said they would send her on a computer course. She was hounded every day having to get public transport, going to one place or another and was exhausted. Last Saturday night she died in her sleep.
