Just seen this headline on Google News.
Deer cull needed to save the British countryside
Badgers, foxes, now deer. Why ? Apparently,
Has made them a serious threat to biodiversity, as well as increasing road traffic accidents and crop damage.
When was the last time you saw a deer.
The results, published today in the Journal of Wildlife Management, show for the first time that present management efforts are not enough to stop populations spreading out of control.
The Badger cull was apparently because of the bovine issues.
The Fox cull was because of, over to Mr Slack. I honestly dont know. More disease.
I do know it wasn't about attacks on kids.
But Deer ?

Apparently they have had some sort of protection but are now hundreds of thousands over viable numers. Or so I heard on the radio.
Last time I saw a deer? A few months ago in Chatsworth Park.

Sounds like an excuse to justify their bloodlust

Who's blood lust ?

I don't think they'll hunt them with horse and hounds.

Should make Venison a bit cheaper to buy
I love Deer, I think they are handsome animals, not sure where we have too many of them as only see them in Chatsworth around here

I saw one there too, always sticks in my mind. It was a male with the most amazing antlers, stood on a tree stump looking right at me.
