Just hit another milestone in mileage in my own car.
Not bad for a car we bought brand new 7 years ago  8)

Been driving a different car today. Gearbox has gone in my regular one.

Y reg. There's obviously something wrong with the mileage that's shown.
It's totally and legally legit. It clocks every day correctly.
Must have had a hic up one day and added say what,  700,000  ;)

Our car is an 06 plate and got just under 125k on the clock.

Our cars in for it's MOT tomorrow morning. Just been looking at the old MOT papers
Mileage at 1st MOT 12828 March 14th 2009
Mileage at 2nd MOT 15465 March 13th 2010
2637 miles.
Mileage at 3rd MOT 17885 March 26th 2011
2420 miles
Mileage at 4th MOT  18690 March 17th 2012
805 miles
Mileage tomorrow about 20035
1345 miles.
Not bad considering we visited all those National Trust places, Lancaster etc  last year  ;)

Car passed it's MOT, knew it would  :)

Just nipped out to Our_Lass's taxi to get something out the boot and saw these partly hidden by a coat.
Must have been a customers cos Our_Lass didn't buy them  ;)
Guess what's for tea  ;D ;D

Had my own car MOT'ed over the weekend. It passed of course  :)
Mileage now 21196, that's 1169 miles from last years actual reading of 20027  ;)

As for the 'high mileage' Peugeot taxi I drive for work, tomorrow it will tick over the 900000 miles mark.
That's 38000 miles since I took that picture last year  :o

I know it's an old thread, but all that info is on page 1 of it. We still have the same 06 plate car.
Yours had done 125 thou last year. (From my memory of reading all this thread earlier tonight).

I drove a "60" plate Scania Double Decker on X17's saturday. It's already got 229,000 on the clock!

Was it you flashing the head lights last week to let me out as I pulled off the rank on Knifesmithgate.
Or some miserable stagecoach driver 100yds away thinking f'in taxi drivers pulling out on me  ;D

No, that wasn't me mate. Spotted you in a couple other places and waved, but you were concentrating so hard on driving properly, you didn't see me in my 40 foot tube ;)

I don't get much bother with bus drivers tbh, they do seem to have a vendetta against Our_Lass though, she's had some right run ins with some of the male drivers. Some Stagecoach, but mainly TM Travel.

TM Travel - most of them are ex stagecoach drivers anyway. However they don't have Greenroad.com type gizmos on board monitoring your every movement.

MOT time again this weekend for our car  (y)
Ten year old and still less than 28000 on the clock. Will post the actual mileage at the weekend.
