Sh1t and same can.
I seriously want to become a politician and screw people's lives for my own personal gain.
And, oh, hang on, something's coming through the ear piece.
Barry. Yes
That nice bloke. Yes
The one with the grandkids. Yes
Don't do it. OK ;)

Don't get it. What am I missing?

All parties in power make the rules to suit themselves and change policies.
They all sh1t in the same can. They're are all in it for the money.
Respect to those of any party that actually want to help the people of this land.

No problem, then, with changing the law to make it unneccessary for Alan Turing to be pardoned. Hell, we might even abolish the death penalty from 1950, then we wouldn't be able to hang men with a mental age of 12, like Derek Bentley.
All to save £130 million, which is the loose change lost down the economy's sofa.
Any Labour MP who votes with the tories on this wants to have a good look at himself.

@stuart 'seeks law change'
I missed the headline and read this. It makes it look like it's already been done.
The Department for Work and Pensions has introduced emergency legislation to reverse the outcome of a court of appeal decision and "protect the national economy" from a £130m payout to jobseekers deemed to have been unlawfully punished.

If they get the legislation through, I hope someone involved takes it to a higher court.
As Stuart says - where will it all end if politicians are above the law of the land?
I suppose they'd turn the speeding laws back and get Chris Huhne out of the slammer...

As long as it works for all. Hence . .
