Fuming is not the word :-X
Took 3 passengers, all female, in my taxi to a location on Derby Rd. Was a chatty journey etc, they paid, I drove off.
I had been aware that one of the ladies on the back seat was eating something, not usually allowed in taxis, but I let her.
It's only now I've got home I realised what she was eating !!
A packet of biscuits from a carrier bag off my rear parcel shelf. A bag of shopping I'd done for an elderly customer :o
I'm not contacting the police over a packet of biscuits, I'm not coming looking for you, I won't say where you're living.
You ain't getting in my taxi again thief, you owe me.
I can't believe people can stoop so low. I really have seen it all now ::)

She ain't happy I can tell you.
I took the elder of the three, and two other people to the same place the other week, via McDonalds drive through.
The elder lady kicked off big time with the lad in the back cos he wouldn't pass her a burger, 'in the taxi' ::)
Some of these people must think taxi drivers don't communicate with each other and can be treat like dirt.
Shame they don't realise they stole from my wife >;

How on earth do people have the gall to do such acts :o

Some people have no respect for other people or their belongings.

Cos they do emmz. All I can say is stick with a trusted group of friends.
Friends look after friends.
I'll do my best to make sure members of this forum are kept up to date with any scams !!

You ought not to let them eat in your taxi - invariably they'll leave their rubbish behind. They do on t'buses. Anyone who tries boarding my bus with hot food, hot drink, open tins of ale get refused by me, because according to our " conditions of carriage" its not allowed.
Yet we still get empty bottles/tins of pop rolling around the floor of the bus, along with empty Greggs food bags, and Metro newspapers scattered all over the place.
When we had to issue tickets for the senior citizens (we don't have to now), the majority of tickets dropped on the floor were dropped by ..... those who should know better shall we say :-X
The same category of aforementioned senior personage seem to be the ones who moan the most - despite free travel virtually all day. I had one ask me the other day why there were no free newspapers (Metro) on the bus about 2pm. We put 25 on the bus first thing in the morning (thats 5am for example) as instructed.
I'm ending this rant now - before I alienate the entire clientele of buses :P
Where did I put my medication.....? ;D

There will always be the cunning ones who will sneak stuff into taxi's buses with them and leave the rubbish behind, just as there are those who chew gum and gob it onto the floor or stick it under tables.
The person who stole and ate the biscuits in our lasses taxi would have a right laugh about it once out of the car - ignoramous thief!

Leave some laxative chocolate on there next time :)
