I'm ready - if only for the long break.

Must admit it's not been the same since the girls grew up.

I was going to comment on that statement.
But even I can't lower myself to say it, even on your forum  ;D

Some sort of decorum is always needed  ;)

>> even on your forum

Not my forum mate - I built it for everyone. As I said when this was first mentioned, I'm happy to do it and it can be transferred to it's own domain and registered by any one of us.

Unlike Sapients, this should not be dictatorship, this should be a democracy.

Also unlike Sapient (who takes forever to do the slightest thing), I built it in a couple of hours and it cost bugger all.

Simples :)

My colleague who has been renovating a house for about 12 years and is therefore more keen on overtime myself is on call throughout the entire xmas period.

Not me, rather have undertime than overtime.

Daughter, nieces and nephews all grown up but luckily got a granddaughter; not first Christmas but last year was only tiny baby.

Whenever I worked on Christmas eve at M&S the one thing that used to get on my chest was the fact that, come 3pm, we had to start getting the post xmas sale items ready! - as if we weren't busy enough with inebriated husbands coming in asking for ides of what to buy wifey!!

Well I'm looking forward to it - even if it's only so I can ignore my business phone for a week or so.

The only 2 places now are both on Christmas Eve.

The Fox & Goose at 4 o'clock and
Brampton Manor at 6.30

Good for you Aitch. I used to be in the choir at the Parish Church on High St, Bolsover.
If I remember rightly, I was about 8/9.  ;)

Had to call at Tibshelf Services on the M1, Monday afternoon, on my way back from Nottingham.
Yup, the dreaded, I need a tiddle  ;D

There was a choir singing their little hearts out in there.  Mainly ladies  ;)
It gives you that xmas spirit hearing them. Poeple taking time out, to raise a few quid for others.
Right, enough of that, I'm going before I burst into tears myself.

Sat watching the 'Sun Military Awards'.  :'(
