Are they necessary? If people are interested enough to reply they rise to the top of the list anyway
-
If you get one like Fly has stuck for say Britain's Got Talent it saves people looking for it every Saturday night when it might have dropped way down the lists during the week.
I don't see any problem with sticking topics.
You may think different if you are hoping things you don't want to debate will go quietly away?
-
Been thinking about this one all day.
Not sure I agree with how stickies are used. It could be argued that our forums could be judged on the topics of its stickies - and I don't want to be judged as a fan of Britain's Got Dickheads - utter rubbish. IMHO
-
It's the BGT thing that has no interest to me but the subject matter is irrelevant, if people are interested in a topic it stays at the top. Simples.
-
No because people are interested in BGT on a Saturday.
If anything we start too many topics for re-occuring things so stikkies make sense
-
I presume anyone who starts a discussion thread deems it to be of interest
Don't know if there is the technology to automatically "unsticky" a thread after a given period of inactivity
-

That would be me and Flyboy.
How do we decide what to do?
We make it up as we go along... :)) :P
