Had a gander around the net this morning, came across this sofa on the SCS website.

Our_Lass loved it, so we called in the shop in town. Ended up buying 2 of them in a slightly darker, 'coffee', colour.
Same price as online, now that was a surprise.

Yes the vulture salesmen were ready inside the store, but backed off when I said, 'Where are your non leather sofa's, and give us 15 mins to have a look around, then feel free to come and offer us assistance'. One said, 'Up stairs folks', then brought us both a coffee about 10 mins later.
Nice lad, Wayne. No bull***t, knew what he was on about, didn't try to talk us up a level of cost. Deal done, sold   :)

Delivery in 6-8 week  8)
Will let you know the outcome. But looking good for SCS for now  ;)

looks very comfy, I dont get to sit on our sofa very much cos laura and OH nick it...I dont mind cos its a bit knackered these days..

We've been chatting. It's the first brand new sofas/settees we have ever bought whilst we have been together. 17 years.
We have both once bought brand new before, me from MFI, flat pack 1986/7, Our_Lass from a catalogue 1983/4.

Both our old 2 seater settee's have been passed onto good homes.
Step daughter's had 1, her mates had the other. We delivered them after work yesterday teatime. :)
