I'm thinking of buying my daughter a Kindle Fire Hd for her birthday. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of them? Are they a good buy? Thanks Guys

Haven't owned one myself, but a good friend of mine has one and says it's brilliant - which is praise indeed from someone who has relentlessly bought Apple Mac kit for the last 25 years!
