Been down the pond times many. Been down the old train lines as a kid dozens of.
Never been down and round the nature reserve. Big up Bolsover and DCC councils :)
Roundabout bottom of Bolsover Hill, turn right, park up, and walk :)
Here's just a few of the 111 photo's I took ::)

By sheer coincidence, saw SimondJuk and his missus on our travels.
Still remember his photo's of this area during the flooding. It wasn't accessible.

looks like a hidden treasure, Similarly there are probably many chesterfield people who have never been along the canal path.

That surprises me Fly, I thought you would have been down there loads of times. Looks like you parked in the car park near the fishing ponds? Did you know you can walk along the old line towards Glapwell? I've ridden my bike along there a few times. Must say I love it down there, very quiet even though you can see the M1

Going for a walk down there later, park at Staveley and see where we end up. Not been down there for a couple of years. We have cycled from Renishaw to Staveley and back and also from Renishaw to Rother Valley
