Parts of America are in a 'brutal heatwave' with temperatures reaching 129F. Cooling stations are being opened and the vulnerable are being helped. Cars are too hot to touch!
We often get the snow from America, I'm wondering if we will get some of this heatwave wafting over the UK.
If we did, how would our people in charge cope. Could they provide cooling stations?
I love hot weather but temperatures as hot as this when working would be extremely uncomfortable -
Wonder how we would all cope?

It could reduce the pension bill...

Been too warm for me today. Killed me mowing the front lawn, and its only 12' square 8)
To answer your question OC, we wouldn't cope very well at all. Just like we don't with snow.

I think because as a country we just don't see this kind of weather as its so unpredictable, we would not cope as a nation.
