Title: America - heatwave - how would we cope?
Post by: Old Cruser on June 30, 2013, 11:14:21 AM: Parts of America are in a 'brutal heatwave' with temperatures reaching 129F. Cooling stations are being opened and the vulnerable are being helped. Cars are too hot to touch!

We often get the snow from America, I'm wondering if we will get some of this heatwave wafting over the UK.

If we did, how would our people in charge cope. Could they provide cooling stations?
I love hot weather but temperatures as hot as this when working would be extremely uncomfortable -
Wonder how we would all cope?

To answer your question OC, we wouldn't cope very well at all. Just like we don't with snow.
