Title: G4S probe after tag firms' multi-million overcharging confirmed

The justice secretary has asked the Serious Fraud Office to consider investigating G4S over overcharging for tagging criminals in England and Wales.

Chris Grayling told MPs overcharging by G4S and rival Serco amounted to tens of millions of pounds.

He said some charges were for tagging people who were in jail or abroad, and a few who had died.

Serco agreed to a new "forensic audit" by accountants PriceWaterhouseCoopers but G4S declined, he added.

We don't need criminals in this country, big business fills that role for us. Typically the sort of behaviour that privatisation promotes. Both companies big mates with Cameron and the conservatives if I'm not mistaken.

Maybe we wouldn't be in the financial sh*t if big businesses were honest...  :(

I daren't even ask who the top guys at G4S and Serco are  ::)

Not like I'm thinking they had inside information !!  :-X

They might have been big in their day, but they would be nothing nowadays.
