Title: Bees
Post by: Old Cruser on August 01, 2013, 08:56:29 PM
Has anyone had any bees outside or in which seem 'dopy and dying'
We had two in the house over the weekend which came in landed in the carpet and just didn't seem well.
Today another Bee in the garden was the same - i looked closely at it and it had what looked like brown pollen or something on it's upper back.
Very strange.
I'm wondering if there is some kind of disease in them.

After posting this I noticed there is a programme on tonight BBC 2 @ 9pm What's killing our Bees - it says there is a decline of them.
I will watch it with interest

Alsatian just jogged my memory of this, I did watch this programme and it seems there is some kind of a disease around.
Still finding dead ones here  :(
