Against AFC Wimbledon. Now 4 points clear at the top of League 2. :)

Was listening to Peak107 earlier. Apparently Cook(manager) has one of the strongest teams in the division.
I recall they had a start like this a couple of years ago, then bombed  :-X

Against a side that was in the top 3 prior to the match. Cracking result.
It's early days yet of course, but there is certainly cause for optimism.
Paul Cook seems to be able to get what he wants in terms of his backroom staff and players, and the backing of the Chairman and his board should be applauded.
The likelihood is we will have a great rest of the season ahead of us.  ;D

Another shrewd move - Paul Cook's new contract signed to keep him at the Proact until 2016. Chris Turner knows he needs to keep him as long as possible, and appreciates the work he's done since his arrival. ;)

In terms of keeping Cook at chesterfield his contract isn't worth the paper it's printed on. All it means is if he continues to be successful and a bigger club comes calling (Messers Jones and Weir aren't exactly pulling trees up are they?) then CFC can claim a larger amount of compensation for letting him go
