Don't laugh, this is a serious sale. It's mine and my wife's wedding attire :-)
I'm the groom, tallest in the photo's, 6' 2", to help with sizing. Here's the deal.
My Black Baronjon suit. 38" chest jacket, long sleeved. 32" waist, 33/34leg trousers.
Comes with protective suit cover. VGC, worn about 6 times.
4 Salmon, diamond pattern waist coats, with matching burgundy 'pearl' studded cravats.
2 are M, 38/40" chest. 2 are XL, 42/44" chest. Approx
My wife's wedding dress. Size 12. Worn once. Excellent condition.
Dress straps and wrap included, not pictured.
Matching colour shoes, size 8 and clutch bag.
They will be advertised in various places over the next few week and we will sell to the highest bidder. The highest bid on here will not necessarily get them.

Gimp masks included?
-
That's the yellow things....not wishing to suggest anything perverse ;)
-
Time to move on Andy. The suit doesn't fit me any more. Or is that I don't fit the suit 8)
-
The suit must have shrunk as a result of you packing in smoking... ;)
-
Bought some new trousers yesterday in town. Primark. I like to shop local. 34" waist :-?
Can't see the point of keeping the jacket and spoiling a lovely suit combination.
Our_Lass laughed cos the trousers didn't fit, so I said try the dress on.

Not doing as well on Ebay as expected. Couple of hours left yet.
Currently at £10.22, glad I added a get out clause.

Auction over. £16.06
Glad Our_Lass offered me £100 not to sell them.
Get out clause, it was published on the Ebay listing.
Yes I feel a little sad the winner won't get the goods.

Shouldn't be such a tight arse then - £16.06 - you couldn't buy the cotton to put it together for that.

Why me. The highest bidder has paid me ::)
Dear taximanbaz,
My name's Elise and I actually live in Northern Norway. But October 2-7 I will be in London. I've paid you via paypal, and was contacting you to see whether you might be willing to ship to my hotel during that time, or -- if not -- when it might be convenient to send a courier to collect.
But then I see that your intent actually was not so much to auction off these items on ebay as to get a variety of sales offers from a variety of sales sites, wit an eye then to choosing the offer you preferred.
I can see why you might wish to do so.
I would not, however, recommend doing so on ebay. Ebay policies specifically forbid the practice : once an item is listed for an ebay auction and a bid is in, both seller and buyer commit to a legally binding contract for its sale at the closing price and terms. The site's sanctions for violations include permanent exclusion from all ebay sites.
As noted, I have paid you. So I am unsure how now to proceed. Please advise.
Thanks,
So I sent a full refund.
Hi Elise.
You should read listings in full before bidding on items and sending payments.
I've sent you a full refund via paypal.
Regards taximanbaz
To which she has replied.
Dear Taximanbaz,
Thank you for the paypal refund. I will, however, be in touch with ebay to clarify their policies regarding auction listings.
You see, I did read the full listing. But as an irrevocable ebay condition of listing an item for auction without a reserve is that the seller then must sell the item at the price he gets, I did not register that you listed this lot with no intention of actually completing a sale. Doing so completely undermines the entire ebay concept. Especially since ebay does provide the option of setting a reserve price below which you would not be willing to sell...it is an auction option, and seller pays ebay a fee for that privilege. Sadly, you did not avail yourself of it.
Very truly yours, EliseV
Do you think this will lead to me doing a spot of time on her majesty's service, or just lose my Ebay account :P

6 months...

Nope my mate got 4 months for that and banned from ebay
