Price Rises under Cameron
Stamps 46-56%
Gas 17-45%
Electricity 22-39%
Food 19%
Water 20%
Rail 27%
Bus 22%
How much has your income risen?
-
I think it's a 2 part answer Pete.
I'm on minimum wage, but that hasn't risen by those sort of %'s
I'm paying a tad less tax now.
That still doesn't rise my income to the rise of % in daily costs.
Next year we are going abroad again, we work and save for that pleasure. We've had to downgrade slightly. We can't afford to be as lavish as in the past. We simply can't afford it.

Have to laugh when the Derbyshire Times goes on about inflation when their paper is the biggest culprit of them all (6.25% average over about the last 20 years). Wish my wages were linked to their cover price!

Said it before, if it wasn't for the obituaries, I'd probably not buy it.
My aunty's ex husband is in this week :(
Obviously I knew about it before seeing the DT.

Said before no doubt will say it again.
Why have utility and transportation fares risen?
Nothing to do with Cameron its still a) Maggie's legacy and b) New Labour realising that they would be totally unelectable if they went back to left wing policies of National ownership.
Answer this. When the renewal for your car insurance comes in do you pay it or do you visit an Opera singer or a Meerkat and get it lower.
Now answer this one. How long have you been with your current energy supplier?

We use gocompare for all our insurance deals.
Been with Eon about 3 years. Think our contract is about up with them, so will be having a look around the others soon.
