Title: Removing dfs.pathdone

Seem to have got infected with the when downloading mp3gain. It's a annoying pop up type advertising thing which AVG doesn't seem to stop

Searching for a solution just gives me links to downloads which in turn could be dangerous

Thanks Barry, that seemed to have useful instruction without having to download anything. I've done the Chrome and Firefox bit so I'll see how it goes

Perhaps that was down to the fact your browsers had/were infected. The link I gave was from my 1st google search.

I had seacrhed for software to enhance mp3 recording but in the end used Audacity which I already had

Audacity is great freeware software for editing owned sound tracks etc.

I've only tended to use it before for culling bits out but it's improved volume of a live concert I recorded
