Title: Please take time to watch this -
Post by: Old Cruser on December 13, 2013, 05:45:19 PM
I cried when I watched this as I know how true it is. I  recently helped a sufferer to fill in form but I just know they will be turned down, even though they are genuine. If they were not genuine I certainly wouldn't have spent the time with them helping.
Have heard nothing yet but will go to the assessment with this person when they called in.

Getting help on mental health grounds is very difficult.

This is very sad. They seem to pick on the most vulnerable.

What a country, where we don't look after our own.

Disgraceful - vote against them in the next election.

Won't it be the same bunch of civil servants or think tanks making the decisions ??

The descriptors can be modified to fit various disabilities/conditions, with of course some common sense implemented

It's shocking viewing.
Especially for the chap who had worked for 32 yrs and paid into the system but got no sympathy whatsoever.
I can see why they have toughened up the qualifying procedures to a degree, but surely there has to be some leeway, some give & take, rather than a cold, clinical, absolute refusal for people in that state.
Great Britain - I'm not so sure :(
