Friend of mine's allotment shed got broke into.
It's a .22 with a leaver underneath to cock and load the pellet in the breach, can't remember the name of it. They also took a BSA Meteor as well with a poor spring and old type scope that was in a black fleece lined shotgun pouch.
If you hear owt, let me know please ta.

Not sure it's a good idea to keep guns in a shed. They could be anywhere now, in anyone's hands, of any age.

Don't know much about guns except my brother has them for clay pidgeon shooting. They are locked up in doors and I seem to think are police checked at intervals?
Hope they find them anyway Fly.

TBH OC, I don't think they are like shotguns, just air rifles. But they can be very dangerous in the wrong hands. Best kept secure.

Just for the record I totally agree with Pete, no, 'gun', should be left in a shed.
The gun in question is an air rifle, it fires little pellets that could be lethal if they hit you.
You don't need a license to own one. But there are certain laws about under 14 year olds using one without supervision etc
A gun that fires bullets needs the owner and gun to be licensed. Plus the gun needs to be kept in a locked separate cabinet from the ammunition in you home. It's also more likely to kill you if you are shot by one due to the power of it.
Guns that people use for clay pigeon shooting also need to be licensed as above.
They fire hundreds of small lead balls at a time.
These splay out when fired. A clay pigeon probably get's hit by a couple of balls.
If hit at close range, you're probably dead. You get the 'full bore', ripping you apart.
