On a similar vein I've seen a car turn right off storforth lane on to derby road and slam the anchors on because they spotted the red light stopping the derby road traffic.

Done similiar years ago in Nottingham. Stopped at a red light, then realised I was in the middle of a junction.
Got postman pat sat behind me pipping and flashing his headlights  :)) :))
