How did this story from last October get missed with all the other tax avoiding companies ?

I wasn't aware of this - another shop for me to boycott...

Funnily enough, I got a reminder last week about my tax return being due soon - it had a VERY threatening warning about what would happen if I was late paying...

One law for big business one law for the rest of us.  >:(

No there isn't. Boots are using the rules to pay as little tax as possible. Take your paperwork to a good accountant and he will do the same for you. In relative terms it will be same. You can argue that the rules should be changed but those are the rules

So, if all businesses paid no tax, how would the government raise money?
