I remember you putting out a post awhile ago about Taxi's for disabled children being charged for - can't remember how old they were though.

Have had this update today
 Any thoughts?

It's a tough choice cuts or charges when the government is doing its utmost to stop you setting a balanced budget

DCC want the people involved to use their DLA towards transport costs. Based on a 38 week term, it's about £9.18 a week.
We used to charge Matlock £83 a day to take and bring back an autistic lad to Nottingham. That's £415 a week
I don't know how much the average DLA payment is, would £9.18 be a large % of it ?

There are different rates of DLA.
Probably only the highest rate would cover that amount Fly.
Problems may arise if a car was taken instead of the money and parents then struggled to get the y/p to school /college every day.
