Me and some of the da lads in Nottingham - not sure where someone from Lord of the Rings came from.... ;)

Is that part of the tunnels around/under Nottingham Castle, I've never been ?

Not really - the most famous tunnels under the castle are in the Trip to Jerusalem pub.
But all of Nottingham is built on sandstone and are riddled with tunnels and underground rooms. There's even a tourist attraction under one of the markets that has 5 or 6 themed "rooms".
TBH, the weekend was more about eating nice food and drinking a lot. ;)

@Pete - spent a few happy hours in the trip to Jerusalem when I lodged in Beeston early 70s - also the Salutation and The Mint (disco within Albany Hotel)
