This only happens because working people vote Conservative. Maybe it makes them feel part of the elite... ;)

I know it was only Manchester but it gives food for thought and maybe an insight as to how people are thinking

No sorry it's slightly different

UKIP getting poplar? I just wonder if the voters are tired of the same old sh1te from the lackluster
labour/conservative/liberal parties?
No-one from the mainstream parties seems popular right now, and I think (personally) that an overwhelming volume of the electorate feel let down by the failed promises in pre-election manifestos, and want a new perspective.
You can't blame them for that.
Lets try some new liars for a change ;)
-
Agree with all that except the last line... :(
-
Doubt if we will get a truthful one Pete.
Well said scimitar I agree with you
-
Mid Parliament protest votes. Mean absolutely Jack when it comes to the general election
-
We can dream...

Apart from attracting the obvious xenophobic voter have those that voted for UKIP looked into some of their other recent policies:
They want to abolish maternity leave in small firms.
They want to scrap the European employment right to paid holidays and breaks in the working day.
They believe those on permanent contracts should be paid less because they get greater employment protection.
They want to introduce a flat tax rate – a tax cut for the richest, a tax rise for everyone else.
They wan't to make it legal to possess handguns.
They want to bring back hunting.
Then you get some of their "serious" politicians saying these storms are God's revenge for allowing gay marriages in church
-
They wouldn't get my vote anyway Slacker have heard enough of the ramblings of theirs on TV.
The ones you have posted just add to my thoughts of this party.

Whats a pay rise? :P
