Title: RIP Phil Gilbert
Post by: Fly on February 23, 2014, 04:50:33 PM
Sad loss of a fellow Chesterfield taxi driver. Was a top bloke. Condolences to the family.

Some of the things he has to put up with.
Like taking me and Our_Lass home after a forum get together in the Spread Eagle one Xmas.
Any body got a fork ? LOL

Fly as you know I was brought up on the same street as Phil, lovely bloke.
Hubby would like to attend the service if you get to know where it is etc.

Don't see anyone that knows him these days Fly.
His ex has left her job in Chesterfield - she was the only link we had  :(
When hubby had his shop phil used to take him to work Saturdays as I had the kids at home, also used him for Southampton and airport trips.
Hubby was pretty upset when I read your text out to him - very sad not that old either
