Title: Codex Seraphinianus, come one, you've got to read this.
Post by: Fly on February 23, 2014, 09:20:06 PM
I noticed a facebook share by Pete. So I looked into it further.
Here's the wikipage for it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Codex_Seraphinianus (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Codex_Seraphinianus)
I checked ebay looking for a cheap copy.

Have you seen the prices. OMG
I've just downloaded a PDF version for free and put it on the Nexus. 370 pages of Italian ramblings.
Give me something to look at between jobs. Can't get any madder than at a tea party can I ;-)

Been to Barcelona and seen some of Gaudi's creations. They might be surreal, but they are real.

This guy is seriously profound. People have took the time to try and decipher what he was writing ??
The writer is still alive, and probably laughing.
Perhaps someone, one day, might get onto his wave length, and actually understand him.

Strange isn't it. I loved the place, but I can understand the Spanish hating money, their tax, being spent on it.
Perhaps the Spanish Gov think it's worth it with visitor numbers to Barcelona.

Well I've had a good look through the PDF file. Absolutely barking, yet stunning at the same time.
To draw some of the images and write the text as he did at an age of about 27 is amazing.

Have a gander at some of the images here. Just a link to google images.
