Happy birthday 45!

My first record was Telstar by the Tornadoes, B side was Globetrotter.

Coincidentally that's first one I owned though first on I wen't into shop and bought myself (10 yr old hippy) was If You're Going to San Francisco

I didn't realise 45s had been around that long as I remember my dad having a cupboard full of 78s

Mine was 'Only Sixteen' by Craig Douglas.  This was 1959, and my mum bought it from Eyres when they used to have a record shop.  Anyone remember that?
