Just reading in DT of a woman who falsely claimed benefits of £57,405! She got a three month curfew and 161 years to pay the money back!

I give up...

Little wonder it keeps happening they just get away with it.
Should have at least been given some community service as well -

Anyone caught stealing that amount of money would get a substantial custodial sentence - why are benefit cheats let off so lightly?

Probably cost more to bang them away than to give out benefits Pete.
If a person is crafty enough to cheat and lie then they are able to work IMO..
It's about the only thing I agree with the gov. on to crack down on these people and get them into work.
Gives the rest a bad reputation

I give up too.  Gives out the message you can commit fraud and almost get away with it

She'll never pay it back. She hasn't got it.
