This is another stupid reason for people think we would be better out of the EU  ::)

“The initial idea was to make it simpler for people to register their vehicle in a different EU country but the parliament’s Internal Market and Consumer Protection Committee is now proposing equipping all vehicles in the member states with number plates in ‘common colours’.

'Cause god help us that we should all have number plates of the same sort of design.

Wouldn't it make it a complete nightmare tracing owners of vehicles if we all had the same design plates ?
I'm on about the lettering style not the colour  ;)
There's loads of foreigners getting away with traffic offences in this country as it is.

One wonders if they will "harmonise types and colours of clothing" across all EU countries one day...  ::)

I bet clogs are a bugger to drive in  :))

I'll be honest about stopping in the EU, always said it. I don't know enough about the pro's and cons.
Stupid ideas will just sway the populous to vote get out, if we ever get the choice to vote on it.
