Title: Cock up with images used in Google news and recent sad local stories.
Post by: Fly on May 06, 2014, 07:37:32 PM
The picture appearing at the side of the headline, "Police appeal after woman dies in Chesterfield car crash",
is not the lady who sadly died. It's missing local lady Eileen Hill  ::)
I hope Google hasn't caused her family any distress.

Just refreshed the page, it's even worse. The links to the other story aren't even there.
I've reported the incident to Google, with their own screen shot facilities, not mine shown here  :-X

The lady that is missing used to work with me on the checkouts at Sainsbury's. The OH was also getting confused because allegedly there's a further lady missing, last seen at the fair on Monday in QP

Glad to say that 'missing' Eileen Hill has contacted the police and is safe and well. Good news  :)
