Always handy to know where the roads works are I think.

There's some work being done over the bypass temple Normanton way.
Not sure what they are doing but on a recent visit to Calow Hospital ( I always go that way ) I had to divert onto the bypass and into Chesterfield. I was pleased i had set out in plenty of time for the appointment!!



During July work to improve Derbyshire's roads will include:

Amber Valley £200,000
−     A615 Dale Hill, Oakerthorpe - road resurfacing - £65,000
−    A615 Doehole Lane, Alfreton − road resurfacing - £45,000
−    A615 Matlock Road, Wessington − road resurfacing - £90,000

Bolsover £100,000
−    A632 Main Road, Langwith − drainage works - £100,000

Chesterfield £224,000
−     Glenthorne Close, Ashgate - pavement resurfacing - £19,000
−    B6051 Newbold Road, Chesterfield − road resurfacing - £170,000
−    B6150 Loundsley Green Road, Chesterfield − road resurfacing - £35,000

Derbyshire Dales £90,000
−    A632 Chesterfield Road, Matlock - road surface dressing - £90,000

Erewash £82,000
−    Douglas Road, Long Eaton − pavement resurfacing - £35,000
−    Weston Crescent, Long Eaton − pavement resurfacing - £47,000

High Peak £125,000
−    Bench Road, Buxton − road resurfacing - £55,000
−    Mosley Road, Buxton − road and pavement resurfacing - £70,000

North East Derbyshire £90,000
−    A632 Slack Hill, Kelstedge − road resurfacing - £90,000

And further road maintenance will be carried out in:

Derbyshire Dales
−    The Dale, Hathersage − road resurfacing

Temple Normanton bridge should be off for the weekend.

Keeping an eye on it for my daughter's impending maternity visit.

Didn't see one work person on it all last week. No one there today, are they letting the cement dry before tarmacing it ?
