Someone had suggested a forum meet up.
Dawn posted this.
It was done before & people who met slated other members who didn't go - & some members who did go! One person made themselves the centre of attention & it supressed others talking to each other. It was horrible even though everyone pretended it was great.
Some people prefer posting something every now & again than meeting.
That isn't to say it might work with a different set of people

shame I missed these they sound like a right laugh. I dare someone to arrange a social!

No Fly a big wooden spoon is better.
The last time I viewed there it was a shambles with so much falling out, not been on for quite awhile now and think I will stick to that.
I didn't find a problem with the last two forum meets I have attended with members on here. Neither did I notice anyone anyone making themselves the centre of attention. Both hubby and I enjoyed the chats and one or two units of wine.
We certainly wouldn't go if that was the case.
Maybe the people mentioned no longer post on here.

That's funny, I can't think of anyone, except her, that had a problem and didn't come to any more Xmas meets. Except omskirk, who sadly passed away a few years ago.

I have to admit to viewing it on occasions - usually when I've nowt better to do - and it's out of curiosity to see who's ripping who to bits.
I'm never disappointed and it always seems to be a cauldron of heated 'debate'!

I didn't have a problem with anyone, the only problem I do have that stops me attending is arthritis of the spine. if I sit with no neck support for any length of time I'm in pain for the next couple of days.

I'm sure no one would mind you coming with your collar on if that's what you need Alsatian ( no pun intended ) Pain isn't funny!
I can be quite 'selective' who I mix with but found everyone very friendly with no bitching.
All makes for a good atmosphere and the proof was in the pudding as the saying goes as we went again the following year.
