Well not officially anyway, someone tried. Little does she know, if she nominates me, im nominating her as she apparently enjoyed it so much!
This was the same person that slated me on Facebook for commenting that a lot of people are doing it but not donating to the cause it originated from.

Apparently Macmillan have been slated for stepping in asking for donations in the uk.
Charity Macmillan Cancer has been accused of attempting to hijack the Ice Bucket Challenge currently being taken by well-known faces around the world, away from the ALS Association.
The Ice Bucket Challenge, which as of Sunday 24 August had made $70.2m worldwide in donations for the charity that attempts to battle Motor Neurone disease, has been taken by a diverse range of personalities such as Will Smith, Shakira, Bill Gates and Scotland’s First Minister, Alex Salmond.
A blog post on the charity’s website by its head of digital, Amanda Neylon, attempted to bring some perspective to the controversy.
“We’ve seen thousands of our supporters braving the challenge for us in the past few weeks. And we think it’s awesome that they’ve chosen to do it for us. But people are also drenching themselves for other charities, and that’s just great too. Whoever people choose to raise money for, we’re just delighted that people are fundraising,” she stated.

Does it matter as long as some people give something to a charity ?
I'd sooner give to one I want to, or give to one that people ask me to at my discretion :)

It doesnt matter as long as they give. My point being that I think a lot of people dont have the first idea on what its all about.
Do the challenge and donate. I donate to Breast Cancer every month, so id donate any challenge to somewhere else.

I havent got a link to figures, but in the link I posted earlier, the ASL charity had received $70m in donations this year alone.
Last year they made about $1.5m. That's a big step up in donations, I think the charity has got it's message out (y)

We saw more dog sh** on our sea front walk than any other place we've ever been.
Most of it was still in plastic bags laid all over !!!
