Excellent report on the Chesterfield Post website about this, however, no one from Chesterfield:

"A Chesterfield factory, raided in 2009 by officers from HMRC was, the court heard, potentially capable of making up to 625 million counterfeit cigarettes and five million pouches of fake hand rolling tobacco a year and was said to be worth over £131 million pounds in lost revenue a year..."

It was on the news last night and showed Tapton Business Park (where S & J Kitchin used to be) on Brimington Road.  It's incredible what went on under our noses and we knew nothing  ???

That's exactly what I think. I remember, not so long ago, a old Chinese chip shop near Morrisons was busted by the police for growing canabis plants. If I remember correctly they were Vietnamese - but no one noticed this in Brampton?

There was a cannabis factory in Inkersall a few years ago.  An empty house on Hillman Drive or Stanley Avenue (can't recall which one) Chinese, or Vietnamese people again it would seem.  Someone must have noticed the pong eventually - it's rather unique!   :)
