Could really do with some techie help as this is driving me nuts!! A friend has sent me some photos on my phone via WhatsApp. I want to transfer them to my laptop so that I can print them. How on earth do I do it? Googled all sorts but nothing helps. Come on guys, I'm relying on you! Many thanks

Sorry Poppy. I don't have a clue on this. My mobile phone is still running Windows 95 LOL
My Nexus is more up to date, but I don't use the App. :-(

Screenshot it and copy the file to the Laptop and print?
I dont know what phone you have though but if its smartphone, you should be able to screenshot
If it's anything like multimedia messages you should be able to click the photo and it opens, so screenshot it from there

Hi Poppy, what Phone Have you, and is it running Android ?.

If phone and laptop both have Bluetooth that may work or have you a usb lead with phone to connect to laptop you could also try that poundland used to sell a Bluetooth dongle I bought one just to try and it did work , if laptop does not have Bluetooth built in.

Poppy, go on google play and install Airdroid onto your phone.
make sure your wi fi is enabled on your phone and run airdroid.
on your laptop run your internet browser and type in the address
given by airdroid.... like 192.168.1.6/8888 should be similar to this.
when connected, you can browse , download or upload to and from your phone.

when you connect your samsung to the laptop does it not show all files on the phone as well as an SD card (if you have one) On my phone (android) there is a folder called whatsapp already, had the pictures in there. I am sure there is a way of saving the pics recieved to the device however i can't tell you much more as not received anything in a while
